It’s no secret that this year has been a doozy. Covid-19 busted in like the kool-aid man and everyone near and far had to cancel vacations, quarantine, and rearrange their goals — both in daily and yearly plans. But even a pandemic can’t stop Americans from living their dreams, even if it’s not the dream they had in mind for 2020. We’ve experienced a HUGE demand for swimming pools. So we are here to explain why pools are being scheduled so far out.
High Demand for High Quality
As people have been home more this year than any other time, the home improvement industry has been booming. Why? Homeowners are finally able to get around to all those projects that have been sitting on the back burner. But as is the nature of supply and demand, materials quickly became scarce as factories and stores all over the country experienced a shutdown.
What does this have to do with your swimming pool build? Well, the materials we use to construct our aquatic masterpieces have also experienced a shortage. Not only are they slightly harder to come by, they’re worth more today than they were this time last year. Because quality is so important to us, we’re having to schedule pools so far out to secure the materials needed for your dream pool.
Scheduled for Therapeutic Reprieve
Along with a sky rocket in home improvement material needs, the pool industry has seen a HUGE demand for swimming pools. So many cancelled vacations, along with seemingly endless summer weeks spent stuck at home has been an eye-opener for everyone. Humans need to be active! We need stress relief, entertainment, and socialization — everything a high-quality swimming pool provides.
Our customers have turned to us to create the perfect environment for relaxation and recreation. We are so unbelievably excited to help each and every one. We have even hired extra construction staff to meet the demand. Unfortunately, it means that our projects must be carefully scheduled to ensure the beautiful masterpieces we build meet each and every need of our customers. Because of excessive demand, your pool build may be scheduled a bit farther in the future than we have in previous years to ensure you get the very best.
Hearing a Call
Mastercraft has heard the call for swimming pools and spas. We’ve hired larger teams to meet this need, but some circumstances are out of our control. This year has taught Americans many things, not the least of which is patience. All good things are worth waiting for! We can assure you that your pool build is DEFINITELY worth the wait!
